" Nostalgia"- 23rd-26th September 2019.

This piece is a collection of images which show valuable memories which have been transferred using mod podge acting like a way to preserve these memories for the future. The stitch connects all the people together like a disorientated family tree, bringing all the family members and memories together. But like memory the stitch is very fragile.

"The sands of time."- 3rd- 7th October 2019.

This piece comes from a childhood memory, finding a message in a bottle. The sand is used as a representation of time passing like with our memory. The hardware glass adds value and importance to the photograph and the memories attached.

"Don't you remember?" - 12th- 16th November 2019.

Inspired by Christian Boltanski, 3 images have been printed onto a transparent sheet of paper and the 2 other images have been screen printed onto acrylic. Placed on an old music stand these familiar images immediately became unfamiliar along with the memories. When shown to family, they began to ask each other don't you remember this?, or don't you remember when? Leading me to use this as my title.  The memories and stories which are associated to a specific photograph.

"Nostalgia"- 14th- 18th November 2019. This audio comes from a series of audios which are part of a film I made. The film is a representation of time and our memory and how eventually we all become confused and forgetful. The  viewers see a collection of photographs being burnt whilst an audio is playing over the top, however the audio is describing the following picture rather than the photograph on the screen at this point. The film does the opposite to the  idea of storing and collecting photographs for the future, simply by burning the photographs along with the memories and nostalgia associated with the photo.
